A 1940s Swedish Apartment with a Soft Yellow Kitchen
On the top floor of a 1940s apartment building in Stockholm lies this charming one-bedroom apartment with a light yellow kitchen. The original layout of the 1940s has been preserved and the renovated kitchen is also in an original style.
The entire home was renovated in recent years. An oak parquet floor is combined with freshly painted walls and ceilings. Thanks to the high position, you have a wonderful view of the surroundings through the windows and on the balcony.

The living room is a wonderfully light room with windows in two directions and glass balcony doors. During the summer months, the doors to the balcony are almost always open, adding an extra few square meters to the living space.
Thanks to the high location and unobstructed views you can see for miles from the cozy balcony.
The walls in the living room are painted in Eggshell White.
The kitchen is designed in a classic 1940s style. The solid interiors were recently updated with a new countertop, sink, tiles, and paint. The midcentury cabinets are painted in a lovely yellow shade.
New, handmade Italian tiles were fitted as a backsplash.
The walls are painted in a similar shade as the kitchen cabinets, adding a wonderful soft tone to the charming kitchen space.
The bedroom is color-drenched in a lovely matte sky blue color, paired with a light blue rug, and bedding in a similar yellow shade as the kitchen.
A blue nightstand, pendant lights, and a chair add to the blue color scheme of the bedroom. In the corner are also two built-in wardrobes with sliding doors.
The hallway is fitted with built-in wardrobes. The walls are painted in a deep green shade paired with a classic checkerboard floor.
